Timothy Freeman serves as Chief Operating Officer for Georgia Care Innovators, providing executive leadership for organizational operations, strategic growth, and the continued development of innovative programs that improve the lives of patients, families, and communities across Georgia.
A registered nurse and experienced healthcare executive, Timothy has built his career leading operational excellence, workforce development, and organizational transformation across hospitals and healthcare systems. Before joining Georgia Care Innovators, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer at Evans Memorial Hospital, where he led initiatives to expand access to care, improve patient experience, strengthen clinical partnerships, and develop sustainable workforce pipelines in rural Georgia. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at HCA Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph’s/Candler, overseeing critical care, surgical services, and hospital operations.
In addition to his healthcare leadership, Timothy is the founder of Career Connector, an innovative platform created to help students and professionals make more informed career decisions through meaningful conversations with experienced leaders. He believes one conversation can change the direction of a career—a philosophy that reflects his passion for mentorship, leadership development, and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
